[CONFIRM WITH COUNSEL: Thanehold is a trading/business name of Akaar Holdings Limited; register the business name before publication.] By using the website, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, please discontinue use. The Privacy Policy and Important Information page should also be read in connection with your visit.
Informational purpose only
The website describes Thanehold’s proposed business activities, areas of interest and relationship-building approach. It is not a trading, fundraising, account-opening, deposit-taking, insurance or investment-advisory portal. It does not itself offer or sell securities or create an investment relationship. Nothing on this website overrides transaction-specific documents or legally required disclosures.
No professional or transactional relationship
Visiting this website, requesting a meeting, submitting a message or receiving a reply does not establish a fiduciary, investment-advisory, legal, confidential, client, brokerage, partnership or agency relationship. No transaction is binding unless authorized parties sign the relevant definitive agreements. Thanehold may decline or discontinue discussions, subject to applicable law.
Accuracy and reliance
We endeavour to provide useful and current information but make no guarantee that the website is error-free, complete, uninterrupted or appropriate for a particular use. Sector descriptions, illustrations, strategic goals and statements about future activities may change. You should not make financial, business or legal decisions solely on the basis of public website content.
Permitted use
You may view and print reasonable portions of the website for your personal or internal business information. You may not misuse the website; attempt unauthorized access; interfere with security or functionality; use bots or automated extraction that unreasonably burdens the service; impersonate others; transmit malicious material; or reproduce substantial content for commercial redistribution without permission, except as lawfully permitted.
Intellectual property and third-party materials
The Thanehold name, visual identity, website copy, layouts and original website materials are owned by or licensed to their respective owners and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party marks, images and referenced businesses remain the property of their owners. Use of the website does not transfer any intellectual-property rights to you.
Submissions and confidentiality
The public contact form is for introductory enquiries only. Please do not upload or send sensitive information or confidential business documents through it. A message does not become subject to a confidentiality obligation merely because it is sent; confidentiality or non-disclosure obligations must be separately agreed in writing by authorized parties. You are responsible for having the right to submit information you provide.
Third-party links and services
The website may refer to independently operated websites, service providers or publications. We are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices. Access and use of third-party services is governed by their own terms.
Availability and changes
We may update, suspend or discontinue website content or functionality at any time. We may revise these Terms by publishing an updated version with a revised effective date. Continued use after posting changes constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its general informational content are provided on an “as available” basis without warranties of continuous availability, accuracy, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Thanehold and its service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising solely from use of the public website. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Governing law
Subject to applicable mandatory law, these Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any proposed transaction may be governed by different contractual terms and laws.
